This tutoring center website design service builds websites that answer the questions parents and prospective students bring. It is for tutoring centers (bimbel, short for bimbingan belajar), course institutions, job training institutions (LPK), music schools, and language schools. Before anyone signs up, they can read which programmes you run, when classes meet, what each one costs, and whether your institution is officially registered. Registrations arrive by WhatsApp or through a short form sent to the institution's email. I build each website myself, as a website engineer and technical lead.
The service suits exam-prep tutoring centers and language courses, music schools, computer courses, LPKs, and private tutors who want to look professional. Online learning apps and report card systems are not part of the default package. If your institution already uses one, the website links to it.
In short
- A licence block shows the establishment permit and NPSN, or the NIB and LPK licence, with links to official government data.
- Every programme shows its schedule and fee, because admission must be transparent.
- Registration runs through WhatsApp or a short form with parental consent for children.
- No uncertain promises such as "guaranteed entry to a state university".
- The build is paid once. Afterwards you pay for the domain, plus a server if you pick one. Malware cleanup is free for 3 months.
- Start by telling me about your institution through the form on the homepage.
Parents compare first, then check that the institution is legitimate
Tutoring season follows the exam calendar. SNBP is the route into Indonesia's state universities that uses school grades and achievements, with no written test. Registration for SNBP 2025 was completed by 776,515 students, up from 702,312 a year earlier. UTBK-SNBT, the computer-based entrance test for state universities, had 785,058 participants in 2024, and about 30 percent of them passed. Since 2026 a student may sit the UTBK only once, so families start preparing earlier.
Parents looking for a tutoring center or a course usually open several at once, compare programmes and fees, and then check whether the institution is legitimate. For an LPK, that check carries much more weight. Police in several regions have exposed LPKs that collected tens to hundreds of millions of rupiah with promises of apprenticeships in Japan. Tribun Bengkulu reported one such case in November 2025, and RRI Mataram another in June 2026. An honest institution gains when its licences are easy to verify.
The new course institution regulation, and licences parents can check
Course institutions are now governed by Permendikdasmen 24/2025, promulgated on 17 December 2025. It is the regulation of the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education on course institutions. Articles 21 and 22 place tutoring, skills training, and life skills, the arts included, within course services. So a tutoring center sits under the same rules as a music school or a language course. Article 5 requires an establishment permit and registration in the ministry's data system. Institutions that already operate have two years to adjust.
Every course institution website I build has a licence block. It holds the establishment permit number, the NPSN (the national number for education units), and a link to the ministry's reference data. Parents can search for the institution by name there, and course institutions appear with an NPSN that starts with the letter K.
For an LPK, the same block holds the legal entity name, the NIB (business identification number), and the licence status, linked to the Ministry of Manpower's institution registry. An LPK that sends apprentices abroad can add its apprenticeship licence and how long it remains valid.
Article 43 of the same regulation says only accredited course institutions may issue competency certificates, and only after a student passes a competency test. So the words "competency certificate" go on your website only if your institution is already accredited. If it is not, the certificate of participation is called exactly that.
Programmes, schedules, and fees in plain view
Article 14 of Permendikdasmen 24/2025 asks that student admission be objective, transparent, and accountable. The websites I build turn that principle into pages a parent can scan quickly. Each programme gets its own page with its goal, the target age or school level, the number of sessions, the schedule, and the fee. Requirements and registration steps are gathered on one page.
You update schedules and fees yourself through the panel, for example when an intensive UTBK class opens or a new language course intake begins. The Google Business Profile guidelines suggest that businesses whose class times vary should leave opening hours off the profile. That makes the schedule page on your website the main reference. A private tutor who teaches in students' homes can use a service-area profile that shows no address.
No promises you cannot keep
Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, Article 9(1)(k), forbids offering something with a promise that is not yet certain. Lines such as "guaranteed entry to a state university", "sure to leave for Japan", or "a high salary after graduation" run straight into that risk. The institution websites I build sell through what can be shown: the curriculum, the number of sessions, the teachers and their skills, and the facilities. Each of those can be checked.
Alumni stories or a list of universities your students went on to are yours to show or leave out. The website has room for them, and they can be written honestly. One simple way is to state the year and the number of students behind each figure.
Registration by WhatsApp, with parental consent for child students
A prospective student or parent taps a WhatsApp button that opens a message already naming the programme and level. Or they fill in a short form that lands in the institution's email. The form asks only for the student's name, grade or age, the programme of interest, and a parent's WhatsApp number. Nothing more is needed at this stage. It never asks for the NIK (national ID number) or school reports. Those are dealt with in person at the institution, during formal enrolment.
When the student is a minor, the form carries a consent checkbox for a parent or guardian. Article 25 of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection says children's data must be processed under special rules and needs a parent's or guardian's consent. The form is protected from spam without picture puzzles that leave parents confused.
For most institutions, WhatsApp and email are all the registration channels they need, because parents like to ask before they pay. Your own online registration and payment system makes sense only once you have at least one admin and chat can no longer keep up. Think of a tutoring center with hundreds of students per intake. Such a system costs far more, so there is no need to hurry into it. I weigh it up in the article on catalogues with WhatsApp orders.
Fast on phones, and found when exam season starts
Searches for tutoring climb ahead of SNBP and UTBK, and most of them come from a student's or a parent's phone. The websites I build are targeted to pass Core Web Vitals on phones and laptops. This site was put together the same way, and a Lighthouse mobile run on 12 October 2026 gave it 94. Your institution's website can go through that same test.
Programme pages that answer one question per section are also easy for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity to quote. Picture a parent asking for "an English course for primary school children in Depok with Saturday classes". Your institution's details are matched to its Google Business Profile, including a list of services with one entry per programme.
Tracking, if the institution advertises
If you advertise before exam season, tracking can follow the actions that matter: the WhatsApp registration button being pressed, the form being sent, or a particular programme page being opened. Tags come from the institution's own ad accounts and switch on only after the visitor agrees. An institution that runs no ads needs no tracker at all.
Security, with free malware cleanup for 3 months
A hacked education website can show gambling ads to students, or swap the bank account number on the fees page. Course websites I build get the protection standard this site uses, and this site earned an A+ from securityheaders.com and Mozilla HTTP Observatory on 12 October 2026. You are welcome to run those checks again yourself. How that is done stays off this page on purpose, because intruders read articles like this one too.
Should malware get in during the first 3 months after launch, cleaning it costs you nothing. That 3-month window is written on your proof of payment, and other packages run from 1 to 6 months. In practice I strip out the malicious code, bring the website files back from the latest backup, and seal the gap I find in the website I delivered. What you receive is cleanup work rather than a payout.
After that window, a cleanup is quoted as a fresh job, and a bad case can run to tens of millions of rupiah. Some things sit outside the guarantee. Among them are passwords staff share around, infected devices, and changes made by someone else. Faults at the server or domain provider you picked are excluded too, as are components left to age once the guarantee ends without renewal. The full wording is on the terms page. I can carry this risk because cleaning up hacked websites is part of my ordinary working week.
Cost: paid once, with low yearly costs
A tutoring center or course institution website is paid for once, in several stages. You see the written breakdown before any work begins. After launch, only the domain recurs, plus a server if you choose one. A website for programmes and registration usually needs no monthly server, and there is no monthly fee for a registration app.
Support after handover is optional. Fixes, component updates, and limited help are there for the moments you actually need them. You change programmes, schedules, fees, and teacher profiles yourself. Later you may open a branch, add an English version, or need many more programme pages. I build those under a special offer that costs less than a new project.
A ready-to-use website the institution owns, with source code only if you need it
Your institution receives a ready-to-use website. The built files live on its domain, and the domain and accounts are in the name of the institution or its owner. On top of that come a content panel and handover documents. Moving it to another hosting provider is always possible. If you want someone else to look after it one day, you simply revoke my access and the website carries on. It stays yours.
Source code means the project files used to rebuild the website or rework its structure. It is not part of the default handover. For a course institution, leaving it out keeps the price far lower, content is still managed through the panel, and my support covers the version I delivered. Buying the code makes sense only if you have an IT team or plan to build your own learning platform. Its price is set separately and is much higher. Sometimes licensed components mean it cannot be offered at all, and the offer tells you which case applies.
Other options for a course institution: AI on your own, an unclear agency, or a free template
| Consideration | Building it yourself with AI | An agency with no clear accountability | A free hosting template | Built by an engineer (this service) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Licences | Rarely shown | Depends | No place for them | Permit, NPSN or NIB, linked to official data |
| Promises to students | Happily writes "guaranteed to pass" | Depends | Sample text that reads like an ad | Only what can be shown |
| Form for child students | Often asks for the NIK and school reports | Depends | No parental consent | Minimal data and parental consent |
| Security | Nobody is watching | Untested | Updated along with thousands of other sites | Tested with public tools, 3 months of free cleanup |
| Ownership | Yours, maintained by you | Domain may sit in the agency's name | Locked to the hosting | Domain and accounts in the institution's name |
| Yearly costs | AI tool and builder subscriptions | Monthly retainer | Free until you need a feature | Domain, plus a server if chosen |
AI can write a cheerful tutoring page in seconds, and for the same reason it tends to type "guaranteed to pass" without a second thought. I wrote about other risks of a website built entirely by AI with nobody checking it in the online store case. An agency where nobody can say who does the work sometimes registers the institution's domain in its own name. A free template from your host can carry one page with your address. It was never meant for dozens of programmes whose schedules change every intake.
If your institution needs online classes and a question bank on one platform, use a learning platform provider. A link to it from your website is easy to add.
Who is behind this tutoring center website design service?
Every tutoring center website design job under this service is done by me personally. My name is Dicky Ibrohim. I work as a website engineer and technical lead, and the about page has my background. My days go into building websites and applications, repairing broken ones, and cleaning up hacked ones, and I have handled thousands of cases. AI helps me with the repetitive parts. I then test the result myself, down to filling in the registration form on a phone and watching it reach the institution's inbox.
I am not a teacher, and I am not an education licensing consultant. Permit numbers and the NPSN, your programmes and fees, and any claims about alumni come from you. Material I supply is licensed to you; material you supply is warranted by you.
Process: from the programme list to launch
- Tell me about your institution through the form on the homepage: what kind of institution it is, the city, how many programmes you run, and whether some students are children.
- My written offer arrives within one or two business days and sets out the page structure, the work schedule, the cost of each stage, server needs, the malware guarantee period, and what support covers.
- A short interview about programmes, schedules, fees, registration requirements, licences, and the questions parents ask you most.
- Text and design are drafted by me and checked by you, with extra care on the programme pages, the fees, and the licence block.
- Testing on phone and laptop: the WhatsApp button and registration form are tried until messages come through, the links to official data are checked, and the Google profile is brought in line.
- Launch, then I hand access, ownership documents, and a guide to updating schedules to you or the institution's admin.
What you need to prepare
- The institution's name, address, WhatsApp number, and the email that will receive registrations.
- The establishment permit number and NPSN, or the NIB and LPK licence.
- A list of programmes with target students, number of sessions, schedule, and fee.
- Registration requirements and steps.
- Teacher profiles and photos, if you want them shown.
Eight questions to ask before choosing who builds your tutoring center website
- Can parents check the institution's permit and NPSN from the website? (Yes, through links to official data.)
- Can I change schedules and fees myself? (Yes, in the panel.)
- Does the form ask for parental consent for child students? (Yes.)
- Does the form ask for the NIK or school reports? (No. Those wait until formal enrolment.)
- Who owns the domain and accounts? (Your institution does.)
- If malware infects the site, who pays for the cleanup? (Nobody, during the first 3 months after launch as stated on the proof of payment. I clean it up free.)
- Which costs recur? (The domain, plus a server if chosen. Support is optional.)
- Can branch pages or new programmes be added later? (Yes, under a special offer.)
First step: send me your institution's programme list
Parents pick the institution whose programmes are clear, whose fees are open, and whose licences can be checked. They also want signing up to be as easy as sending a message. A website that holds all of that, keeps children's data safe, and is easy to refresh every intake is what this tutoring center website design service delivers.
Tell me about your tutoring center or course institution through the form on the homepage, or write to hello@dickyibrohim.com. My reply suggests a page for each programme, with an estimated cost and a likely launch date.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a tutoring center website cost?
The build is paid once, in several stages, with a written breakdown. After launch the running cost is the domain, plus a server only if you choose one, and support is not required. The figure depends on how many programmes, branches, and languages you have. I send it after you tell me about your institution through the form on the homepage.
Do tutoring centers and courses need a licence?
Article 5 of Permendikdasmen 24/2025 requires course institutions to hold an establishment permit and to be registered in the ministry's data system, and Articles 21 and 22 count tutoring as a course service. Institutions that already operate have two years to adjust.
How can parents check that a course institution is official?
Through the reference data of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, where course institutions are listed with an NPSN that begins with K. For an LPK, through the Ministry of Manpower's institution registry. The website links to both from its licence block.
Can a tutoring center website promise admission to a state university?
Better not. Article 9(1)(k) of Law 8/1999 forbids offering something that contains a promise that is not yet certain. The website sells through the curriculum, the teachers, the number of sessions, and the facilities, and any alumni figures are written together with what they are based on.
What data does the registration form ask for?
The student's name, grade or age, the programme of interest, and a parent's WhatsApp number, with parental consent for child students in line with Article 25 of Law 27/2022. The NIK (national ID number), the NISN (national student number), and school reports are handled at formal enrolment, not through the website.
Is registration by WhatsApp enough?
For most institutions it is. Parents are used to asking a few questions before they pay. A dedicated online registration and payment system only makes sense once there is an admin and registrations have outgrown chat.
Can schedules and fees change with every intake?
Yes. You change programmes, schedules, fees, and teacher profiles yourself through the panel, for example when an intensive UTBK class opens or a new intake begins.
How does an LPK show that it is official?
By listing its legal entity name, its NIB, and its licence status, linked to the Ministry of Manpower's institution registry. An LPK that runs apprenticeships abroad can add its apprenticeship licence and the date until which it is valid.
Do I receive the source code?
What you get by default is a ready-to-use website on your institution's domain, with a panel and handover documents, which can be moved to any hosting. Source code is a separate option that costs more and is not always available; the offer states its status.
What if the institution's website gets malware?
Cleanup is free for 3 months from launch, as written on the proof of payment, and other packages give 1 to 6 months. You receive cleanup work, not compensation; the scope and exclusions are set out on the terms page.
