QUESTIONS / BEFORE WE BEGIN

A little clarity, before we begin.

Common questions about how I work, engagement models, and technical approach. Behaving like a senior internal partner, not an outsourced vendor.

Do you work alone or with a team?

I work directly as the principal engineer on every project.

  • No agency layers.
  • No junior hand-offs.
  • No project management overhead.

When you hire me, you work directly with the person designing the architecture and writing the production code.

For larger scopes, I may bring in trusted specialists, but I remain responsible for the system and outcomes.

Why don’t you show public links or client websites?

Most systems I build are internal tools or sensitive infrastructure.

Examples:

  • internal operations systems
  • automation pipelines
  • AI knowledge bases
  • high-traffic commerce backends
  • identity or security systems

These aren’t public-facing products and are often covered by NDA.

Instead of links, I share:

  • measurable outcomes
  • architecture approaches
  • performance improvements
  • cost reductions

That’s what matters in production engineering.

Have you worked on real high-traffic systems before?

Yes.

Selected examples include:

  • Handling viral ticket launches with sudden traffic spikes and zero downtime
  • Scaling allocation systems from 1,000 to 30,000+ items per cycle
  • Reducing manual workload by 60% through automation
  • Cutting infrastructure costs by 40% while improving performance

These systems ran in real production with real users under real pressure. Not prototypes.

What exactly do you build?

I focus on production-grade systems, not marketing websites.

Typical scopes include:

  • Backend systems (Rust / Go / Node)
  • Workflow automation
  • Internal tools
  • AI & RAG integrations
  • Data pipelines
  • Secure cloud infrastructure
  • Legacy system modernization

If the problem is “our system breaks when we grow”, that’s usually where I help.

Do you also design landing pages or marketing sites?

Yes.

I build landing pages, company profiles, and marketing sites as well.

The difference is how they’re built.

Most studios focus on visuals first.
I focus on performance, conversion, and system reliability first.

So you don’t just get a nice-looking page.
You get:

  • fast load times
  • clean architecture
  • scalable infrastructure
  • analytics-ready setup
  • automation-ready backend
  • and systems that won’t break when traffic spikes

If you want design only, many studios can do that.

If you want a marketing site that is engineered to perform and scale, that’s where I come in.

How are you different from an agency?

Agencies optimize for volume, process, and delegation.

I optimize for quality, architecture, and long-term stability.

With me:

  • fewer layers
  • faster decisions
  • direct accountability

It’s closer to hiring a senior in-house engineer than outsourcing to an agency.

How do projects typically start?

Most engagements begin with a System Audit.

The audit includes:

  • bottleneck analysis
  • architecture review
  • risk assessment
  • cost inefficiencies
  • improvement roadmap

You get a clear technical plan before committing to a full build. This avoids expensive guesswork.

What does the System Audit deliver?

You receive a structured report with:

  • current system map
  • identified risks & failure points
  • performance bottlenecks
  • hidden operational costs
  • architecture recommendations
  • prioritized action plan

Think of it as a technical blueprint for scaling safely.

What tech stack do you use?

Stack is chosen based on constraints, not trends.

Common tools:

  • Rust / Go for high concurrency backends
  • PostgreSQL
  • Cloud-native infrastructure
  • Secure authentication & encryption
  • AI / RAG systems when useful
  • Data pipelines & automation

The goal is reliability and maintainability, not hype.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. I often embed directly with startups, internal engineering teams, or agencies.

I can lead architecture, ship critical components, or mentor engineers. Flexible depending on your setup.

Do you provide ongoing support after launch?

Yes. Options include:

  • optimization
  • monitoring
  • scaling improvements
  • performance tuning
  • feature expansion

Many clients continue on a monthly partnership for ongoing engineering capacity.

Who is this NOT a good fit for?

This might not be the right fit if:

  • you only need a quick template site
  • price is the only decision factor
  • you want large agency processes
  • you prefer many meetings over execution

I focus on shipping real systems quickly and responsibly.

What size companies do you usually work with?

Typically:

  • fast-growing startups
  • operational-heavy businesses
  • agencies needing senior engineering
  • teams hitting technical limits

If growth is exposing system weaknesses, that’s usually the right moment to talk.

How involved do I need to be as a founder?

Minimal. You focus on business.

I handle architecture, engineering decisions, implementation, and deployment.

You get clear updates and outcomes, not technical noise.

What if the audit has started but the report hasn’t been delivered yet?

Once the audit begins, engineering time and analysis are already in progress, so the engagement is non-refundable.

If you choose to stop early, we’ll share any findings completed up to that point.

How do we start?

Simple.

Start with a System Audit.

You’ll walk away with clarity, even if we don’t continue working together.
